Lighting Design: OneLX Audio Visual Design Group
In April 2022, renowned Canadian chef Matty Matheson, celebrated for his landmark Toronto restaurant Parts & Labour and his role as Neil Fak in FX's acclaimed series The Bear, launched Prime Seafood Palace. This exceptional establishment has since garnered prestigious accolades, including the Best New Restaurant award for 2023 by Canada's 100 Best and the Popular Choice Award for Restaurants over 1,000 sq. ft. at the Architizer A+ Awards. OneLX Audio Visual Design Group was engaged to provide expert consultation on the lighting design, collaborating with Moss LED to accentuate the restaurant's distinctive architectural details.
Ceiling Design
To enhance the texture and verticality of the ceiling, FlexLED 60 White 24V 3000K was utilized in conjunction with the ALM-1707 Aluminum Channel. This installation method not only elevates the aesthetic appeal but also ensures the longevity of the LED by leveraging the aluminum channel's heat sink properties, tailored for commercial applications.
Window Surrounds
Our FlexLED 60 White 24V 3000K, housed within our ALQ-1807 Aluminum Channel, was employed to elegantly frame the windows, contributing to a warm and inviting atmosphere for booth seating areas.
Bar Shelves and Bar Kick
To draw attention to the bar area, the same FlexLED 60 White 24V 3000K was integrated within ALQ-1807 Aluminum Channels on the bar shelves and the front of the bar stools, enhancing the overall visual experience.
All lighting components are controlled by Quad-LED High Current DMX 4-Channel Dimmers, ensuring precise management of the lighting ambiance. Reliable power is provided through MeanWell HLG 24V Power Supplies, installed within a dedicated electrical enclosure.
